    Hi Dave,
    I set the multimeter on 10ACV and spun the motor by hand and got a reading of about 2V from the tacho.
    I also checked ohm across tacho at 9ohm.
    Carbon brushes at 3ohm.
    2 field coils at 3.5 ohm each.
    Are those ok?

    Hi Dave, Thanks.
    Yes, it does have carbon brushes which I have inspected by taking off of the motor. There is still a good length to them and they slide easily in their housing. The machine model is the ‘Nextra6 6+4 kg Sensor Washer Dryer, Optima wash system’. The machine serial no. 3100136207498010.
