    Hi Dave

Hope you’re good. I replaced the D7 diode in my Beko WDR7543121W Washer Dryer in July/August and it solved the problem. Unfortunately the other day, whist the dryer was on, I smelt some burning. The drum had stopped moving but the machine’s display was still lit up. However, I switched the power button off and it would not switch on again. The plug fuse seems to be fine and I replaced the D7 as well as D6 diodes but still no joy. Do you have any thoughts on what the most likely problem is please? I haven’t yet tested all the other components. Thank you in advance for any advice!

Hi all, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread. I had exactly the same issue and, thanks to your suggestions, it cost me just a couple of pounds to fix my Beko washer dryer with a new D7 diode! Cheers
