You’re correct that there is no ice in the door, the freezer section works fine and keeps food frozen.
Yes the ice bin is in the door. Pushing the small button underneath the ice maker has no effect, nothing moves and there are no noises to suggest it’s trying to do anything.
Does that suggest the main pcb has gone?

It is a plumbed in model and it has stopped making ice.
