My APM6825 Fridge/Freezer, now 11 years old, is having problems with temperature in the Fridge section.

The Freezer seems to be ok, about -20degC. But the fridge, even on #9 setting, ranges between 4 to 17 degC. The lower back wall inside the fridge gets warm causing the temperature to rise.

I’ve tried a complete shutdown and defrost, but the problem still remains.

As everything else seems to be working, it seems to me that the problem is on the PCB. I don’t think it is worth buying a new PCB, but there is a DIY repair Kit on eBay which includes a replacement capacitor and relay.

Is a faulty capacitor likely to be the problem?

Any advice appreciated.
