Thank you for that. I ordered the part without even looking to see where it was, not knowing about the different types. Serves me right then. 🙂
I’ll see if ukwhitegoods will change it for me.
Cheers, JD

I cannot for the life of me find where this part fits,It fits into the heater boss at the back of the drum. The heater compression plate needs to be loosed in order to extract the old thermistor. (Great care reqd.) 😕
It is more usual to first test (with a multimeter) the old unit to be sure it is at fault though? Often bad connections from it and to the module can cause the F03 error as indeed also a break in the wires give the same error. So it’s prudent to take that route first before simply sticking a new thermistor in and switching on to see what happens? :rolls:
Martin, I have been looking for exactly this thread since I have the same problem as the original poster.
My new Thermistor is the 083915 from uk whitegoods but looks nothing like the one from the back of the drum (I have just pulled it out and it is a coin sized plastic disc with spade connections on the outside – BTW about 68K when I checked it). Mine is a long can about 8 x 30 mm and is still in the packet my invoice is also for 1 x C00083915 – Indesit Washing Machine Thermistor.
Hope you can help me, JD
