Thanks for the reply.
I have checked the heater resistance and it is 23 Ohms, which makes me think it might still be ok.
Have removed door and looked at the control panel, which shows no obvious signs of a problem. I might try and dismantle and check solder joints.
I am guessing thermal cut out is the cheapest to replace, so might try that first.
