Thanks for the ‘heads up’ on the other bits which need replacing.

Is that likely to cure the leak too? (That is based on my unproven theory that a leak from pump to motor caused the damage). I have certainly seen this happen with washing machine pumps.

Ploughing though the archives, I didn’t find any other references to motors damaged by leaks. Maybe I just got a Friday afternoon model.
