Hi, I am having some issues with the this machine as well but FD8205 340036.
Gladly create my own thread for this, but it seemed like a good continuation of Albert last reply.
Initially the machine would stay at 1 minute never finish the wash. There was no heat in the water. Couple of resets and still nothing.
So good old search and this is where I found this thread.
In the matrix the top float was totally solid with gunk as was the float in the pressure switches.Machine was isolated from the mains and I removed the “water in”, “water out” and “circulation pipe”. After about an hour of shaking the matrix with various cleaning solutions all the gunk finally washed out, similar with the pressure switch chamber – apart from the major shaking.
I then hooked everything back up again, but feel that the matrix connectors on the side that goes to fill the machine etc are not sitting right, but I cannnot see any other way for them to sit, also the connector that goes direct to the pressure switch chamber and following through to the connector it has to the machine seems to let droplets of water through.
After making everything safe I reconnected to mains and ran a test, it seemed to fill ok initially, and on the drain it drains ok, but the arms don’t go around and there is the ker chonk ker chonk as mentioned above as if it keeps trying to fill. The input pipe jerks about as does the waste pipe.
I do appreciate that with no hot water it looks like BER as the heater has gone, but I was hoping that the gunk was stopping the activation of the heater. I do have a new one (machine) arriving today just in case. But would be good to find out.
