    Thanks, Dave.

    Really appreciate your help.

I have looked at the manual for the recommended model, above, and it seems that it can go right up against a wall (on either side), unless it is next another appliance.

I think I am going to go for that one.

Good job I nipped on here – I had never even heard of the brand and was pretty intent on going with Bosch.

    Thanks, mate.

I am very tempted by that one.

One other quick thing – how important is it to leave a gap between both sides of the fridge?

I have read that some Bosch models are “perfect fit”, which means that they are able to go tight up against walls on either side.

However, I have also read that as long as there a gap along the back wall and at the top, any fridge can have cabinets/walls tight up against the sides.

Thank you – unfortunately, they are a bit out of budget (am able to push towards the £500.00 mark), though they are very nice.

I have currently been looking at Bosch – https://ao.com/p/reviews/kgn39vl3ag-bosch-serie-4-fridge-freezer-stainless-steel-49381-28?page=2

Slightly over budget but seems to be getting very good reviews. Worth considering?
