    I called Whirlpool directly and the part is available to order still, I have ordered it. Thanks so much for your help with this and hopefully this will be the end of the matter !!

    Yes on the inside of the dishwasher.

    Hi Kwatt,

    Yes I understand that I cannot buy the part separately, but which complete unit do I need to purchase. When you say a complete unit do you mean a new dishwasher or can you point me in the direction of the what I need to order? Sorry if I am not being clear!

    I have broken the one I removed, can you tell me with which new part I get one of these rings? I didn’t get a new ring with the fill chamber? Will it still be cost effective to repair or should I just get a new dishwasher?

    oh dear thats the last time my husband lets me near the insides of a machine!! 😆 By full assembly do you mean the internal door or a new machine?! In your opinion is it a write off now?

    Hi,

    Thankyou I ordered the part and have fitted it…but I appear to have damaged the white circular disc that holds the seal in place of the refill unit. It now leaks and I suspect it is because of this.. 😥 (You can see it inside the dishwasher on the inner left hand side of you are looking at the dishwasher open). I have attached an image, I don’t suppose you know if I can buy this part?

    thanks alot, do you know which side panel it is located in or is it in the door?
