Been away for a while so just had time to get back to the fault.

If I check for an error code using the check described on this site, that is press the two left hand buttons in and turn the selector switch to 1st position, when the lights start to flash turn another nine clicks, I then get error E12

The descriptions for E 12

Difficulty in fill during drying (maximum time 3 min. fill in dying during the wash load phase)

Tap off or water pressure too low Valve failed
Pressure switch water circuit
Pressure switches
Wiring
Main PCB
Cycle is paused

I have replaced the main valves, checked the pipes, filter and water pressure all are OK.

The Drying cycle starts and the valve opens letting water into the condenser, it then closes when the fan starts and does not open again, so at the end of the cycle the clothes come out hot and steamy and no error code.

What I have noticed is that if you remove the top from the little white box where the water comes from the valve and add more water manually, at the START of the cycle the valve then opens again after about 7-minutes and lets water into the condenser, it then closes after a while, but if you continue to add more water when the valve opens the dryer competes the cycle OK.

The problem seems to be the first error in the above list, if you take to top off the small box the water squirts up into the air about 40mm so there is good pressure and flow, so what detects the condenser has enough water after 3-minutes.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

If I switch the machine on the drying cycle and remove the filter at the bottom of the machine I can see the pump running, and the water comes out that is being put in the condensor from the filter hole, it also empties the washing machine no problem at all during a normal wash. If this pump starts at the start of the cycle why does it not run or attempt to run during the drying cycle?

If I put the dryer on say a 90-minute cycle the dryer finishes early without any error message, but the cloths are hot and not dry

If I then try to run the dryer again when it is hot I get error E10.

If I let everything cool down and put the dryer on a 35-minute cycle the dryer starts and completes it cycle without any error messages but the clothes come out of the dryer very hot.

As said previously the valve for the condensor opens at the start of the drying cycle an lets water into the condensor the moment the fan starts the valve closes and does not attemp to open again, the valve is not sticking becase I have monitored it with a meter.

The pump does not get the signal to start during the drying cycle because I have also monitored this with a meter.

Martin says its the controller, if I had technical information I would be able to sort it out but I cannot find a circuit diagram for this machine

Thanks for your help once again.

I have now had the pump off and run it on the bench, no problems and no blockages.

When the dryer was working correctly this pump would run every 5-minutes or so for a short while, you could hear it, now it does not run at all on the drying cycle although it’s OK on the washing cycle, empties the washer OK.

Something must tell this pump to when to run on the drying cycle, this I believe is the problem, I have removed the filter at the front of the washing machine, and at the start of the drying cycle this pump runs for about 5-seconds, then stops this has always been the case, but once the drying cycle gets underway it does not run again, any ideas? What gives it the signal to run?

Thanks I have looek on this site for a replacement pump, the video shows a pump at the front of the washing machine, the one I am on about is directly below the condensor, I have had this pump off and put a supply to it and it runs fine, I think the problem is the control for this pump, do you have any drawings or technical information?

Thank you for your reply, the sensor you refer too I had problems with this 2-years ago, the dryer would start not heat up, I replaced the connections with two new connections, if I remove a wire from this sensor I get the problem above and this problem is well documented on the web site.

The Pump what do you mean by TOC’s?

The pump works fine to empty the machine and it runs at the start of the drying cycle, but not once the drying cycle has started

Thanks for your help, I replaced the valve set but this did not cure the problem.

I have now checked further, and as I said previously the valve opens, and the water flows into the condenser at the start of the cycle.

The sequence seems to be when you start the drying cycle the drain pump starts for a few seconds, then stops, and then the valve supplying water to the condenser opens, after a few moments the fan starts, as soon as this fan starts the valve closes, I have checked with a Multi-meter and the 250-volts goes from the valve, the valve does not open again, so the machine trips on E10 after about 25-minutes.

I have put a constant supply to the condense valve and everything works for about 10-minutes, then the machine trips on E20 which is a drain hose or pump problem, I have checked both of these and there are no blockages, the drain pump does not start, previously it would run every 6-minutes or so.

The problem seems to be is that the drain pump does not start when on the drying cycle, so there must be some tie up between the pump starting to empty the condense water and the valve opening again to let more water to the condenser, the washing machine works fine apart from the drying cycle.

I cannot see what starts to drain pump on the drying cycle, not sure if it is some sensor or a timer, any ideas please?
