Fitted new NTC feeler yesterday and all working an absolute treat .

Thanks for the info , I’ll keep that one in mind .
I have ordered a new NTC and plan to fit at weekend , I will keep the forum posted on progress .

Thanks washman , what’s the small black grid component with the diaphragm? Could this have contributing to my problem also?

Many thanks for the tips .
After power down and planned NTC removal I have noticed a removable black plastic grid unit that was choked with gunk . Removed elec plug from back of this and with 1/4 turn removed from water drain area.
After much flushing with fresh hot water I can see this has a clear diaphragm inside that is now moving freely and clicks when pushed inwards . It looks like this was jammed before cleaning ,is this like a water level sensor ?
Another quick one . The salt fill chamber has another chamber next to it which the water inlet goes to . There looks like an amber coulored gel in there ,is this a filtration gel?
