ParticipantDave, I can’t thank you enough, that worked a treat. It was full of grease. I ended up removing the water pressure sensor and poking the zip-tie through from the sensor side into the inside bit of the sump as I didn’t want to accidentally push the grease from the other side into the sensor. It’s successfully running a cycle now and hopefully it continues for many years to come!

ParticipantAmazing, thank you so much. Is it possible/sensible to do this while the dishwasher is upright and in situ, or should I be taking the sump out to clean it in the sink?

ParticipantHi Dave, many thanks for your reply. I haven’t checked the pressure chamber, only because I’m not familiar with dishwashers so didn’t know there was such a thing as a pressure chamber! Do you have a picture of what it looks like so I can locate it? I’ve had a look at the Zanussi spare parts catalogue for this machine (here: https://shop.zanussi.co.uk/search?text=91153920503) and I can’t see anything labelled as a pressure chamber so I’m not sure what I’m looking for!
