    Hi K,

    thanks for the links. that seems to make life a little easier. are service manuals available for these devices?

    Thanks Kwatt, as i had thought. so next question. the replacement of the bearings? are they removable and replaced with a bearing kit, or do i need to replace the back half of the outer drum? is it worth carrying out the work at all. if we have to call out an engineer to do the work, would we be better off just getting a new one due to the costs involved?
