One other question. before posting here, I decided to try and fix the machine myself. I (incorrectly) diagnosed the problem to be the “controller board” (not sure what the correct term is, it is the board underneath the control panel with all of the buttons on it).

The new “controller board” did nothing, wouldn’t even display the error lights. So I placed it back into the box and tried to return it.

The company that sold me the part told me, that because I didn’t fix the cause of the problem before I replaced the “controller board”, I probably fried the “controller board” and they wouldn’t give me a refund.

This doesn’t sound right to me. Is it even possible that I cooked the board by doing this?

Reading from right to left, the lights go like so: 01101001. I believe the model is GW609AU. I will check when I get home and confirm.
