No, it’s a second hand one-supposedly a trade-in as family grew larger. The guy selling it works as a service guy for an outlet in these machines BUT does these ones on the side. He advertised it as the “Current” model MW511 and claimed it was approx 2 years old. I went to buy it and it was such a wreck-the body inside & out that I turned it down.
At this stage he told me I can confirm the age by decoding the serial numbers on the back.
Anyway, still looking at a few to help the brother out (his has just gone kaput!) so thought it would be helpful to at least know where to find the year of manufacture to confirm the ages of these machines while I’m still looking. My MW511 went kaput which is why I started looking at second hand ones. In the end I just bought a new one as frustrated with driving long distances for 2nd hand and then finding them in a bit of disrepair. The next day after I bought my new one the Bro rang asking if I had a spare.
My Kaput one looks brand new-Just needs a controller board so might just go that way in the end.
However, still interested in where to locate the year on these machines. 😕

It wasn’t me mentioning the cricket first! But we Kiwi’s are world netballers too.
A small country of all rounders I’d say and not just against the aussies. However, I’m no closer to locating the manufacture date on a MW511?
OR is this just a silly (mid)wayoff question? 😆
