I had the same symptom – constantly flashing light on the front panel. Upon going to remove the filter in the base of the unit to examine it, I found that a lid from my washing items had fallen onto the floor of the unit and was preventing the rotor water spray arm from rotating. I removed this, removed and cleaned the filter and put my hand into the base (where these was water) to help displace a little of the water). Replaced the filter (and cover) and closed the unit back up – and it worked again after turning the programme selector to Reset first, then back to the programme that I wanted. Seems the that flashing light can indicate a ‘jam’ as well as serious hardware faults too. Hope this helps others.
