ParticipantHi
No I didn’t identify the fault, but managed to buy an identical machine on Ebay which works fine, and kept the old one for spares.Sorry I cannot be of more help, I hope you get sorted ok.

ParticipantThese are well built machines so worth at least investigating further. There is a test programme accessed by first of all doing a reset by holding the Start/Stop button in while switching on the power button, then holding in the temp button until all the LEDs are lit, then press Start/Stop to initiate test. The test programme is in two stages and might help diagnose if it is a sensor (eg thermistor, level system) which would be straightforward to replace. The details of the test programme are in the service manual for the Asko WM25 machine – in manualslib.com – there is a link in a recent post

ParticipantI have an ISE 1606W which recently suffered a thermistor failure (caused a lot of erratic behaviour). Anyway, the failure was almost certainly caused by water damage, leaking from the soap dispenser hose and running to the bottom of the drum where the thermistor is located (its on a white plastic holder above the motor). It might be worth checking the condition of the thermistor, and that it is within spec (6.1- 3.8 k ohm).
And of course make sure the soap dispenser hose is well cleaned and sealed.
The bottom hose also looks like it leaked and is possibly the reason for pump failure, so it might be worth removing, cleaning and sealing too (and the vacuum tube while you’re at it). Be warned though, the stainless steel clip holding the bottom hose is tight and difficult to refit. It is possible to buy replacement clips and the fitting tool on ebay, these are often used for rubber fittings and hoses on cars.
