    Went to an old dishwasher years ago with a trainee. It wouldn’t drain cos it had a blockage. The pump was clear, so I demonstrated chuffing down the drain hose. Just before my ears fell out, ther was a pop, and a green ball of something alien shot across the kitchen floor. Before the second bounce it was caught and swallowed by the cat we hadn’t seen. Exit trainee with hand over mouth, calling for Ruth and Hughie! 😆

    Yes to all that. Anyone who can remember Inedsit’s L5 and L6 washers, and the L12 dishwasher will know that they haven’t always made rubbish. Cheap maybe- I can remember Tesco selling the L6 for under £50! It gets a bit wearing to be given parts prices that rival the machine price, especially for the cheap Merloni derivatives.
