Many thanks for this. Initially as you say the fridge started up fine if left for a few hours then stopped again. Now it fails to even start. I hear the switching in an out of the contacts(?) but I can’t hear the compressor run, there’s no vibration and it gets fairly hot. Do / can I replace the compressor (Part no. 141797)? bit loathed to buy a new fridge!

I too have a KGV3120GB/03 whose compressor won’t run despite light on and power etc. Having replaced the control module there’s still no noise from the compressor though it does get fairly warm. Can anyone advise if it’s also likely to be the sensor needing bypassing or there is likely to be a more serious fault?

Hoping that it’s the sensor can anyone advise which two wires need linking together, the pins are numbered; 1,1&2,2&3,3&4 on my control module?

Any help much appreciated.

I have a Bosh Fridge Freezer KGV3120GB/03 whose compressor pump won’t seem to fire up. I’ve replaced the control module and whilst the compressor housing gets quite warm it won’t run and fridge / freezer stays warm. I’ve read a few threads on linking out the thermostat by joining wires 1 & 2 (or 1&3 depending on the thread) of the control module to bypass it. Can anyone offer any advice / confirmation as to which ones I need to link on this model?
