Still persevering. I seem to have the drum back in a happy place. I have leveled the machine as the floor it is on is not quite square. It is being very temperamental and sometimes I get a full cycle through, most times it goes out on over balance alarm when it gets to spin cycle.
Might be time to retire it and get a new one.

Thanks. I’ll have another look tonight. When you say the suspension springs do you mean the 4 straight arms? The only coiled spring that exists is the one I mentioned in the last message at the left hand front.
