    It is beginning to sound like the accounts department had the greater hand in the machine’s design!

    Many thanks for your help. It’s the next thing on the list to try. I’ll report once I have the box split. I suspect if that’s thats the case, there will be fluff in the pipes leading to the box.

    Thanks Dave, sorry for any confusion.

    This is just the heater element in the drier section that I am referring to.

    I have focused on diagnostics. Checked power to the thermal cut outs and power out to the heater(s) once the cut out has been reset. Cycling of power to the heater, so verifying the thermostat.

    I will have to open the casing to check for fluff and also check the condenser pipe for blockages.

    There is the expected cycling of cooling water for the condenser plate but I’m not sure if that also cleans away any fluff and debris
