hi, has anyone tested the resistance of a faulty or good sensor, my fridge has this same problem, just want to be sure it is the sensor before I go order and cut it out.

measuring the resistance of the sensor inside the fridge after it has been on for a while, I get about 20k ohm if I stick a hair drying into the fridge to warm it up the resisance does decrease, so I am unsure whether it is the sensor or maybe the control board or something else?
