OK i have now managed to replace the sensor in the rear of the fridge section albeit having been told by official BEKO spares that it is not replaceable ? I had to cut out the insulation and solder the new thermistor in situ then re insulate and seal the sensor back in .The new sensor is not a direct replacement and the resistance value is slightly different to the original but it is now working fine.It appears that BEKO deem this part as not replaceable which is a pity cos its now working fine and only cost me £15 to buy online .Thanks for all ur advice

Hi All have managed to locate the sensor and remove it for testing with multimeter. It reads from 1.5 Kohms to 22 Kohms in fresh air and cup of hot water. I must admit that I feel if it was faulty it wouldn’t change resistance in this manner.Don’t know what the correct reading should be but at least it’s varying.Do any of u guys know the answer? Or should I just replace anyway?
