Well I do believe that’s a good thing Tony. Essentially it might not be ‘ozone depleting’ as others, in itself it will still contribute to global warming. No more or less than 10 disposable lighters for a pound though!
I can essentially leave it as it is….it’s cooling down nicely now and the compressor is under no undue stress. But the engineer in me wants it precisely as Samsung designed it.
Either way it’s about to be shifted from outside, in. New controls and two shiny chrome beer taps on the front of it so if anyone wants the pcb’s do message me. They’ll come in handy for someone in a few years when they start going tits up as things invariably do!

Hi Tony.
I was under the impression that fgas only covered the governance of environmentally toxic refrigerants, of which r600a isn’t. I could be wrong but isn’t that why r600a is freely available and others aren’t?
