Thanks for all the help everyone.
Don, thats a shame as i would like to get it from a shop if poss, but now the shop i was quoted £400 from (including delivery and connection) has put the price up to £500 🙁 I’m in london btw. So i’ll have to get it from the net now. Found it (siemens) for £378 including delivery and i get nectar points too, so its a very good price by all accounts. Phoned both siemens and gorenje to check out the customer service and both seemed good but siemens edged it with friendly and well informed call centre operatives. Still, i’m gonna do one last look at both machines and make my purchase tomorrow. The delayed start and child lock on the gorenje (absent from the siemens) have given me one last thing to think about. Arghh 😡
I’ll let you know when i finally get my machine and what i think of it.Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply. So do you run a shop? Can you compete with the price of the siemens or gorenje? If so, are you allowed to tell me the name of your shop? 😉
I know in the back of my mind that the siemens is the best bet, you have confirmed this, thanks.
Just cant get that damn money saving monkey off my back 😳Hmm. Maybe I dont need the 7kg but i would want the 5yr cover unless i could get a bosch for significantly less. Is there a cheaper siemens out there with the 5 yr cover? Cheapest bosch i’ve seen is about £290 and 3 yrs extra cover has got to be worth £40 surely. The Gorenje is the only one in the range with the 5 yr cover offer. Man its hard to choose when your a tight Bstrd and skint like me. I’ll see if i can get the shop to drop the price on the siemens to £380 or less (defo worth the extra 50 for German quality). If not i think money will choose the gorenje for me. Have you seen the model i’m after in the flesh? I’ll have to check the t&c of warranty to see if the door is covered. Thanks for the advice so far, its now between siemens and gorenje, so there is progress.
