Turns out the problem was the water inlet valve assembly. There are 3 valves on the assembly, 2 were testing 4.2kohm, and the other one (which feeds the dryer condensing below) was testing as an open circuit. There was also some visible cracking on the outside of that valve body, which isn’t so easy to see when it’s fitted in the machine. After replacing the assembly, the dryer function works like a charm. It’s about a 40$ usd part and takes maybe 30 min to replace.
