Re: Ariston Margherita 2000 – I also have a problem!
I would just like to spend a moment to thank Penguin45. Its for your kind of help that the internet was invented. I have found that over the years I have become a bit of a Ariston Margherita expert. I can clean a filter quicker than a Ferrari pit stop crew. But this time it was thought to be fatal. The wife was measuring poor old Marherita up for the coffin and the bright silver replacement whilst I cleaned just about every pipe and contact in the machine. In the end cleaning the motor brushes and motor contact point (cleaned all black away) did the job. This was all due to problem 1) waste pipe and peller full of crud. Found a few totaly blocked pipes but still select a wash and it would just sit there doing nothing, no water flow, no spin. So Im gona buy some new motor bushes just in case. (btw the machines about 5 years old).
Any way. My hat off to Penguin45 and all the other entries on this forum. Most most most helpful.
