    Insufficient filling is my problem.
    Simple test of course – just didnt think of it.
    Just added a jug-full of water after it had finished filling and bags of pressure!
    Probably just muck in the pipework somewhere then. I like that. A lot cheaper 🙂

    I will give that a go this evening – can do no harm – but the fill level seems to be fine. Water is covering the base of the machine – so lots of water in the sump. That was one of my intial lines of investigation so I removed and cleaned up the “pressure chamber” which appears to be what regulates the water level.

    BTW if it turns out to be the heater/flow divertor thing as mentioned in one of the other replies (which appears to be all one unit) how much £ we talking?

    And how easy/hard to replace – looks hard!
