Yes – the green light is on.
Yes – the door lock is engaged.
I haven’t seen it attempt to pump, however if I move it to the spin cycle it starts spinning (even though there is no water on the machine). If I put it at the beginning of a wash cycle, and activate the pressure switch by blowing into the tube (presumably fooling it into thinking there is water in the drum), then the timer jumps into life and starts ticking, and the drum starts turning.

Thank for all the advice – but oh no – WHAT HAVE I DONE!
I cleaned out the air chamber – as per Alex’s suggestion and that seemed to go well. I put it all back together again – and now it’s refusing to fill with water.
In fact when you turn it on, it does nothing – it’s at this point it would normally fill with water. I’ve checked that there is power coming into the machine, and I’ve checked there is no power sent to the water valves – so they can’t be faulty. The pressure sensor also seems to work (it clicks when you blow into it).
The only area I’ve worked on is the hoses, tubes, air chamber and filter, so what could I have done? I’ve not touched anything else!
Thanks

ParticipantWell thanks for advice – all tubing seems to be fine. I think the air chamber may be blocked (it’s the original grey plastic box) – problem is I don’t know how it’s supposed to behave. If you blow hard in one end, a little bit of air comes out the other end, but then stops. If I put water in one end, it slowly trickles out the other. Is this what it’s supposed to do? Is there a good way to clean it out?
Thanks again
