    Ok
We have found the problem. You only need to clean up the area around that pin to enable a good resolder joint.
Perhaps a local TV repair shop would oblige for a small fee?? Rather than damage the board.

    Should Children Witness Child Birth?

Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call.

The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry. The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about what she had just witnessed.

Kathleen quickly responded, “He shouldn’t have crawled in there in the first place . . . Smack Him again!”

    Hi
With appliance unplugged, I would check to see if there is a burnt out pin on the relay pcb half of the module in the door. Re solder if depleted and re-test.

    Hi
    Thats a better pic 🙂
Between red and green/white is correct and 23 ohms is acceptible.

    Hi
The mechanism that opens the flap and injects the rinse aid is built into the dispenser itself. The mechanism itself is driven by an actuater valve which can fail but is generally very reliable.

    Hi
    Yes the oval shaped part.
With the power off and using a multimeter, you should have between the red and the two white wire terminals app 30 ohms.

    Hi
    Is the perimeter seal intact?
It may be perished allowing water in, making the tablet/powder into a soggy paste causing a suction like action on the flap 😕

A dodgy element perhaps having earth breakdown at a certain temperature.
An earth leakage test of component/s with a suitable meter will identify the offender.
Power off if you are to attempt.

    Re: zanussi skipping cycles

    Hi
Have you checked for earth leakage?
If you do have, you will have to eliminate which component is casuing the problem.
You will need a suitable meter (Megger) thats is capable of checking this as a standard multimeter will not do.

Un plug appliance if you are to investigate yourself :plug:

    Hi
The resistence of the drain pump should be between 110 – 260 ohms.
There is no need to do any live testing as a visual and component resistence test will prove adequate. 😀
