ParticipantRe: Bosch REKM105 air conditioner thunder symbol
Hi
The auto is one of the settings on the fan speed if that makes sense and the on/off is the symbol, “circle with a horizontal dash in its centre”.
Im just looking at the manual never seen one before 😀I have added the missing error code in my previous post sorry.

Hi Bryan
I can see dual valve going into y piece then to dispenser. Adjacent to that is a hose going to dispenser with a foam cylinder halfway down it but no solenoid showing at the other end 😕 If its that one its 481953028867 £10.41 list.Greg

So who is dal? Only posts so far seem to be for his own gains in classifieds and is offering up to 100 Hotpoints for sale 😕 Seems more of a shop trader than some trade guy off loading the odd spare. What do you guys think?

ParticipantRe: Bosch REKM105 air conditioner thunder symbol
Hi
Could it be a lightning symbol? This would indicate a sensor failure. If you press the “auto” and “on/off” an “F” code will be displayed to show you the sensor at fault.
F1 – Temperature sensor failure
F2 – Defrost sensor failure
F4 – Evaporater Fan failureHope that helps

I think so and agree with Chris. I must admit to correcting spelling covertly as I see no reason to make an issue and belittle someone about their grammar.
At the end of the day we are here to get information across and to gather a happy band of members. If we started becoming a picky spelling enforcer than we aren’t going to get very far.
Now CAPITALS IS A DIFFERENT GAME 😀 persistent offenders I believe should be given a quiet word.Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch washer
Hi
Thats a fair price for that repair.
I would imagine the engineer would have checked the bearings for “play” as if there was any then that would have to be addressed before the initial repair.
Providing that checks out you have to consider that the appliance is six years old and without a crystal ball, you have no way of knowing if a major part is going to fail in the near future after you forking out £90 😕As they say….. you have the facts, the decision is yours 😉

Out of interest, what fault do you have on the appliance, it may not be as bad as you are thinking?

ParticipantRe: Bosch washer
Hi
From the details given I can tell you it was manufactured in January 2000.
Thats not to say thats when it was purchased. 😀
