    Re: Hoover Quattro not emptying

Sounds like you need a new pump to be honest, as it should have a slight resistence to turn then twang a quarter turn itself.
Part available from link below but you will need full model number, usually around door area.

    Re: Tricity Bendix oven dead

    Hi
If it has a clock make sure it is set and in the manual (hand symbol) setting.
Failing that it may be the thermal cut out that has been activated.

Not being familiar with oven, thought I would just give you some pointers.
Power off when investigating the thermal protection stat. :plug:

    No problem rafal
A comstick is a tubular stick packed tightly with glass fibre.
You should be able to find one if you do a search on the internet, or maybe an automotive shop.
    Hope that helps

Yes, but use a comstick, never use anything abrasive eg sandpaper etc.
Place comstick vertically on commutator and turn motor shaft until com is shiny.
2cm isnt a great deal of carbon, IMO I would use link below and order a pair up, if you are happy with the condition of the motor.

You would have to inspect the motor commutator for raised segs ,discolouration and score marks.
If none of the above are apparent, then try new brushes.

Power of before doing any work on the appliance :plug:

I had to sit down before replying. 6 years and only had this problem, this has to be an isolated occurence and machine should be cherished.

The part is available from link below.
