As far as old game shows, nothing beats Larry Graysons Generation Game, clean tongue in cheek humour and fun. Apparently they are re running it soon 😀 Heres a taster of class http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/classic/generationgame/videoclips/video13.shtml

    Hi
The 5 secs spin up is normal. The wind felt from vent is nothing to do with that fan, its from the cooling fan.
Sounds like faulty thermostat then 081958 £45.13 +VAT BSH prices.

    Hi,
I would have thought that the dryer would still be under warranty from Bosch as they are guaranteed as far as I am aware for 2 years, assuming that you have still got the invoice.

    cheers

You are correct Clive (Hows your dryer after Dansta sorted it?)

If you have a current receipt for the appliance and is within the 2 years of purchase contact your nearest BSH engineer.
Im assuming your model is WTA4408GB/01 th n heater will be 492159 -£59.00 + VAT BSH pricing; if it is out of warranty.
FYI Ive changed a few under warranty .

    Hi Dick
Had similar fault as your today and was the fan motor. Usually the customer will say that teh fan wont start or is sluggish to start, have you had any of those symptoms?

    Circotherm Fan Motor – 084701 – £73.00+VAT BSH pricing.
As for thermostat you need to tell me which knob it corresponds to ie – is it the 1st knob from the right or the 2nd knob from the right ?.

    Cheers

If after checking its all seated , then its the same advice as Dave.

    Hi Birds
Are you being naughty and stopping the drying cycle mid heat, removing clothes and leaving dryer without a 10 min cool down? Thats the most popular along with overloading.
