ParticipantThanks Tony
I will check these suggestions – I expect the unit will need to come out to check this?gezr
ParticipantAny thoughts from anyone?
I was hoping to do as much troubleshooting as I can myself to gauge if it is worth repairing or if it is time to switch. I’m not sure it’s worth paying a call out fee for a service engineer to conclude an 18 year freezer is beyond economic repair, but as it is a Liebherr maybe it is worth spending a couple of hundred quid on to keep it going longer as an equivalent spec replacement would be expensive…

ParticipantI hoovered over the plinth grill just the other day (not a frequent occurrence) though did not remove the grill – should I have?
The superfrost was on just because we’d put a couple of fresh items in.gezr
ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
One more bump to see if I can progress the issue through this forum…

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
I managed to find the control board on eBay. Fitted it, pressed the door switch, and the fan started operating.
However my joy was short lived as before reassembling the fridge the fan has stopped again…
So I am now money down, time down, and unfortunately still fridge down ??.
Is it time to put this in the hands of a pro?

Tony – the part number on my circuit board is 6113 484-00. I presume 6113652 is a later version of this?
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
I’ve pulled the panel forward and it looks like something has been getting hot – see attached image. I presume the heat is from the ERA transformer. Might that indicate the problem?

Thanks Tony. I’ll try to look at that tomorrow night.

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
Not changed the board yet – unfortunately I’ve not had the chance to look at it for a month, which is pleasing the wife no end!
How do I get to the front board?
I was also planning on checking the temperature sensors, but cannot see where the cables go to after they disappear into a hole behind the cooling plate at the back of the fridge. Please can you point me in the right direction (I don’t have a service manual for the fridge).
I also can’t find the part number 6113652 in the shop.gezr
ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
Thanks Tony. The light goes off when I push the door switch. How can I check the fan switch?

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
Thanks for your response Tony.
I guess the only way to confirm if this is the fault is to swap the board? Please can you advise the part number?gezr
ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
Well it’s not the fan. What should I try next?

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
Can anyone help with this?
Many thanks.

ParticipantRe: Liebherr integrated larder fridge not cooling
I’m fairly convinced it is the fan – I have attached a 12V DC supply to the fan directly, and the fan does not operate.
