    Thanks. Few busy nights so looked at it last night.

    Striker looked fine, but after a bit of trail and error worked out it released the interlock if you pushed the door in before trying to open it, but not if you just tried to open the door without pushing it in.

    It looks like the male striker is just catching the interlock at the bottom, and on checking the hinge it was loose so a good 2 turns later to tighten the screw and it seems better.

    It’s still catching just, so I suspect my wife’s habit of putting something on the door to remind her to turn it on in the morning means it’s deformed the hinge a little. May look at replacing the hinge next…

    Many Many thanks, I’d been going on the fact it didn’t click the interlock open to suggest electrical issue, when it looks like its the male striker part of the catch stopping the interlock opening.

    I was working on the fact the interlock does not click at all as it releases to assume it was the interlock..

    Will check tonight…
