ParticipantThanks for this Dave.
So you think that even though the drain pump operates ok at multiple times during the cycle, there’s possibly something in it that’s maybe causing the error just at the end. Maybe a sensor or some slightly different operation that it may only do at the end.
I’ll have a look at stripping it down this weekend to get to the pump. Let me know if you’re aware of some good instructions/video, I’ll have a search around. I presume it needs to removed from the bottom somehow.

ParticipantI think it’s about 15 years old. I have done some maintenance on it over the years to keep it going, but it’s been working fine for a good while now. I guess it’s at that age when parts may start failing though.

ParticipantHi Pete,
Did you ever find the issue causing this, I have the same problem with the same model. I’ve stripped it down a bit and made sure all hoses are clean, taken out the heat exchanger and cleaned it the best I can, but it still errors at the end of the cycle.
It doesn’t appear to be the drain pump, as it drains a number of times during the cycle, its just at the end. And as you’ve said, if you start it briefly again it will drain the water.
Was wondering if there’s some sort of sensor that might be glitching.
