Re: WHIRLPOOL ADG 7550 – HELP PLEASE!

    Hi, I’m back! 😳

I’ve took the sensor out as suggested and it seems to be clean as a whistle, it clicks back and forth quite nicely but I took it to bits anyway and gave it a good clean.

I also opened up what I presume is the housing for the waste pump impeller and discovered a large loose bit of plastic, which I think may have been jamming the pump. Great I thought, it must work now!

To be on the safe side I thought I’d best put it on a test cycle before before I put it all back together and back in its place. It all seemed to be going well and cycled for about 20 to 25 mins… THEN… BEEP..BEEP…BEEP! 👿 (it did kinda get the dishes clean 😯 )

Its flashing 4 times again!!! Can anyone offer suggestions PLEASE???

    Its me again! 😆

I took off the base pan and had the dishwasher standing in the middle of the kitchen completely naked! 😳

I started her up but no leaks! It just made a quite and low rumbling noise for a few mins and then started beeping and flashing 4 times again. I have also tried tipping it again but no leaks here either.
    😕

Can you think of any thing else I could try as I’m totally out of ideas?

OK Ive finally managed to get the thing out and Ive tipped it to 45o and some of the water that’s been sitting in the bottom has drained, but not all of it.

I can now switch it on without tripping the electrics and get it to start a cycle. It started of as normal but after 10 mins it stopped its cycle and began to beep. On inspecting the lights I could see it was flashing 4 times. When I opened the door there was still quite a bit of water in the bottom.

Any suggestions where I go from here clivejameson or anyone? I hope so because her in doors is moaning about the mess I’ve got in her kitchen! 😯

Thanks for the very fast reply! 😀

    The service number is: 8542 755 15869.

I’ve tried interrogating the Mrs about the number of flashes etc but all she seems to remember is:

    1) the cycle stopped after about 5 to 10 mins
    2) on opening the door she could see the water/spray symbol illuminated

Not a lot to go on I know.

I have to go out in a bit so I will try tipping the machine at 45o tomorrow and post the results.

Thanks again and any more suggestions and advice are most welcome!
