    Hi all,

    We called Samsung and we’re still under warranty. The man they sent around recognised the issue as a “known problem”. Some of the cables that attach to the plates in the hobs can weld to the plate causing the issue. We had to replace all of ours, the worst case he’d seen.

    All replaced and working now. Let’s hope it stays that way…

    Hi Suzie,

    We’re having exactly the same issue with our Samsung hob. It’s 13 months old but it has been in service for 11 months.

    What happened in your case, was it fixed or did you have to replace the hob?
