Wow, had an alert about a new post on this thread. For what it’s worth, I still have the same dishwasher working hard every day, 6 years on from the repair.
About once a week, it stops working a short time after starting but a quick PCB reset solves the problem. I keep waiting for it to keel over but it’s still going strong.

We shall both see what they have to say
Well, the board arrived back today, seven days from when I posted it so not too bad. According to the report, one of the components (looks like a relay?) was damaged by the faulty solenoid in the soap dispenser and has been replaced.
I replaced into the dishwasher with some trepidation, fired it up and…. it works! Just putting it through an empty cycle now to clean it out (stinks after 6 weeks of non use).
So, a hundred notes lighter (£40 for soap dispenser from UK Whitegoods, £52.86 for PCB repair and £6 special delivery to send it to QER), I now have a working dishwasher. Less than every other option availabe to me but still not cheap! I have found new equivalents of this dishwasher around for £300 so if it goes again, I think it will be a new one for me
Only thing I’m wary of; QER state that if the same problem happens due to en external component damaging the board, it wouldn’t come under their repair warranty.
Good luck with yours, TVRJOHN

Even if mine does beep and pulse the drain pump, but lights 4 + 5 are permanently lit.
Just about to send PCB to QER for test / repair
I sent the board to QER on Friday, will await its return. I’d be interested to know what the fault is. I asked them beforehand if there were specific faults that they couldn’t repair. They were suitably vague but reckoned they could deal with almost anything. As I had already bought the soap dispenser, I’m now of a mind that ‘in for a penny…’
One difference between your machine and mine is that I have no fault codes showing.
If QER can’t fix the PCB, it will have been best part fof £90 up the swanny between the new soap dispenser and QER repair.
Plus I’ll then have to fork out for a new Dishwasher which I could have done a month ago when it first packed in!This will of course, lead to the question of which brand to go for. But one step at a time…

As one of the authors of The Article, I’m surprised that it should be considered “infamous”. All we have doen is put the information into the public domain.Penguin45.
Perhaps ‘infamous’ was the wrong word; what I meant was that in my research on this very forum, almost every post I read about this dishwasher ended up with them being directed to the article.
It has been most useful and helped me diagnose the faults so far, so thanks very much for creating it!
