Just wanted to thank John (Brodders) who drove all the way up to Glasgow yesterday (and back again) to fix my machine. He is clearly off his head but am very grateful that he was willing to come and help me out!
Happy to report today that the clicking has stopped, there have been no alarms, and even the ice maker works again. As someone who is not technically-minded in the slightest I wouldnt have know where to start so am glad to have someone who knew what they were doing. Would definitely recommend him if anyone is looking for someone to do a bit of work.
Happy days 8)

Hello all.
It sounds like I have a similar problem to what many of you have endured – the clicking, freezer losing temperatute, ice machine not working etc, alarm regularly sounding etc etc.
Unfortunately, unlike a lot of you, I have no experience of soldering, replacing electrical components etc and wouldnt trust myself to get it right!
Am I going to have to bite the bullet and call out an engineer? And if so, any recommendations?! I live near Glasgow in Scotland.
Thanks
