ParticipantRe: GW501 Rotor Position Sensor Problem
I decided to bite the bullet and give it one more chance as I can’t afford a new one at the moment. I put another rotor sensor in and it is working again. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than 2 days this time ❗

Well believe it or not after two days of working perfectly I now have a 130 error again. No evidence of any damage on the Rotor Sensor but it appears not to be working again. Wiring looks fine. Having replaced the Rotor sensor and the motor controller I can’t see any other items that could affect it. The machine is 13 years old and I am reluctant to spend any more on it. The only thing I can think of is to try one more rotor sensor but I am worried that it might only last another 2 days or that it might have taken the motor controller with it. 🙁

A visual check of the motor controller board did not show any obvious damage.
Checked all wiring continuity and resistance of all components. The machine would fill ok if I manually rotated the bowl while filling. I took this to mean the new rotor sensor was ok so I purchased and fitted a rebuilt motor controller. (NZ$128 incl GST trade) That fixed the problem.
Thanks for your helpGrant

Thanks Penguin45, is there any way of testing the motor controller before I go out and buy one? This will be the second one, it had a new one about 3 years ago. The diagnostics give an error 10000011 is this consistent with a motor controller?

I found a service bulletin that told me that the item had been changed to the new number so it appears I do have the correct item. Can anyone advise what I should try next to fix this.
