I have a similar prob with my machine – approx. 6 years old now but prob a few days old.

1..Won’t heat up/dry on drying cycle even though it goes through its’ prolonged chugging cycle as any owner would know is “normal”.
2..I immediately suspected an element prob but when I tried a so-called “maintenance” program – doing an empty wash on 95 degrees with just Calgon it tripped the socket MCBs in my flat.

I then suspected a thermostat/current limiter prob but I would appreciate feedback on this.
