    Re: Bauknecht flashing start button

    Hi Clive,

Thanks for that, It worked fine.

It picked up the wash cycle where it left off.

However, after about two minutes, it blew the circuit breaker again and gave me a little flood.

I guess there must be a problem in the waste system underneath, unless you have any other ideas??

    Best Regards,

    Re: LG Water Filter

    Hi Dave,

The Fridge/Freezer was bought in France from a Company called Darty. Owned by the same people who own Comet.

    The Model number is GR-L207DEQ

The Part number from the filter came from the LG box. All the writing on the box is in English. Most of the writing in the Fridge is in mis-spelt Korean masquerading as French.

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Dave

It seems to be the right ‘kind’ of circular seal, it’s just too small in diameter?

The machine model is GSF 402 WS and the service number is
    8546 402 22410

    Sirs,

Part arrived in the post today.

    Unfortunately, tis the wrong one.

Think it should have been part 4812 462 79643 as per M. Penguin45’s post.

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Dishwash … +Dish.html

What is the form for returns/replacements.

    Many thanks,

    Re: Leaking Bauknecht “Florida”

    Hi

    M. Penguin45.

Clicked on your link on Saturday and sent the email asking for price quote for the said part.

To date, no reply. Are they very busy and should I just be patient? Or should I send a followup email?

Do not wish to cause aggravation if not necessary.

    regards

Re: Ideal Standard (French) Central Heating Boiler

    Thanks all for the advice.

DPM: yes, I did just mean that it has a frost stat. One external and One internal. Sorry for the lack of clarity.

Which is why a simple timer is a problem. The system uses fuel oil to power it and, if the timer is between the electric mains and the unit, as it is now, then when the power is off, the frost stat doesn’t work as the unit needs power to light up the fuel. Unlike gas which has a pilot light.

Ah well, guess I’ll have to continue my searches here in France.

    Again, everyone, thanks for trying

    Regards

Re: Ideal Standard (French) Central Heating Boiler

    Hi

Have done this already….solves a short term problem

The timer is a bit more complicated than that. It allows separate day and night temps and can differentiate different outside sensor trips.

    Not just a timer.

    Thanks

    Re: Leaking Bauknecht “Florida”

    Sirs,

    I have a leaking Bauknecht.

I ‘googled’ Bauknecht dishwasher spare parts.

I picked the most likely page….this one.

I have the self same problem. Spooky or what!!

My model is GSF 402 WS (I am British but now live in France) the service number is
    8546 402 22410

Will this model use the same part as recommended by Mr Conway? It certainly looked the same as our failed seal. If so, can you ship to France?

If not, no problem, have (still) lots of friends in UK who can forward it to me.

    Best Regards
