Re: MW051 trips RCD and controller fuse blown

In spite of the problems outlined in the orginal post the machine it has continued to run, so I tried a suggestion in the service manual and lifted the lid when the machine was spinning at 1000rpm to recreate the fault.

This promptly blew the brake resistor and a semi-conductor adjacent to where the the brake resistor leads connect to the controller board.

My question is, if I check the RPS connection and replace the motor controller, is there likely to be some other damage that may ruin the new controller?
