Re: Kenwood/Delohngi CK440 Multiple failures -Junk

After getting the money together to replace the parts, the cooling fan now sounds like an angle grinder and I have decided call it a day and buy a QUALITY direct replacement oven. This means it has to be a double oven, gas hob and 90cm and not a junk rebadged Italian Delonghi/Kenwood or whatever. I have a number of German appliances that seem to last and last, so can anyone recommend a good replacement preferably with a long (5 year?) warranty. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, though I am now a bit confused. The two thermal switches that have blown are marked up as 210c not 160c. From the rear I can see 4 of these fuses, 2 are OK, 2 I have replaced with 190c ones to test. I do not have the oven apart at the moment, but at the time, I am sure the thermal fuses all had the same markings. Maybe the 210C I saw was a red herring, I will have to check.

I do not know which fan is running constantly ( didn’t know there were 2!), I will have to investigate further at the weekend.

If you can give me a link to a cct diagram, that would be fantastic. I am an electronics engineer, so I should be able to find my way round. At the moment I have just been figuring it out as I go.

    Cheers…Martin

Thanks for the information, I’ll get a quote.

Considering the cost of parts etc, I’m considering just replacing it with a used one from Ebay.
