I’ll answer my own question in case this helps anyone else… I confirmed that the pump does run continuously and the float switch does halt the machine and illuminate the tank full warning light but only when the float switch is activated for two minutes continuously. Three different Indesit engineers did not seem to know this, the third one was quite surly when I asked him to test it before leaving… He outright refused in the end and I had to test it myself while he waited… 😕 :zap: :angry4:
