❗ Victor Meldrew lives – after leaving machine without power until midday yesterday, I tried again to no avail – contacted Nick, a local repair man who had another contact who deals with e-failures – Nick texted the contact number yesterday evening and I was about to call when I decided just to try the buttons one more time – pressed P and from P0 it moved to P4 :rolls: – I shut the door and ran the full cycle – of course, this was after I had emptied the machine on Wednesday evening and hand-washed a full load of dishes 😡

How long the recovery will last remains to be seen, but many thanks for the assist regardless.

Thanks for all the effort – I tried leaving it closed up overnight to see if the timer counted down – 😕 it went UP to 22!!!!

💡 Great minds etc – I opened it up first thing this AM, saw the results of the overnight and then pulled the plug!

This is definitely outside the comfort range of my hammer.

🙁 Thanks for the effort, but pass the hammer! I tried as instructed – I trained as an aircraft eng 40+ years ago, so I still follow the book – but all to no avail – any other ideas please?
