Re: Ariston AF250 Constently in drain mode

Had it on its back, tillted and twisted but no water leaks. I had all the panels off and found that the foam inside the door at the bottom was wet/damp. When I took the floor plate off underneath there was a small amount of white crumberly scum around the overflow pipe. Screwed to the bottom of the floor plate was a switch and a moulded peice of polystyrene in the housing depressing the arm of the switch, I found the polystyrene to be loose and woberly and not depressing the switch in so i folded some cardboard up and wedged it under to securely depress the arm of the switch. I don’t know if i should of done that or what the purpose of the switch is.
