Many thanks – just to clarify that’s the one between the pump body and filter housing at about 25mm O/D rather than the one that seals the join nearest the impeller which is about 55mm O/D ?

I was wondering why it looked like it had been built with ‘ecomony’ in mind. Previous Hotpoint products (shades of mid 70’s purple anyone ??) I’ve taken apart have been very solid.
